How to give effective feedback to your students-Chapter 2
Chapter 2 talks about the strategies in giving the feedback talked about in chapter 1. Feedback is best when giving the time of the topic and the students know what is being talked about. It says to try and put yourself in the students shoes and make it understandable to the child. Depending on the assignment written can be better than oral, and oral may be better than demostrating, but many is good by having a converstation with the students. According to the book do not write things the students cannot comprehand. Only write comments if the students have a good reading capability. Group feedback also is good if you are not just picking out just one student. Also i like how the book says homework is practice, if not done well let the child redo until they get what they are learning. Help them understand what they need to do better and maybe give them an example like "remember how well you did on you one essay", etc.
