How to give effective feedback to your students-Chapter 3

This chapter focuses on written feedback. The tone and the words you use matter when talking to the children. Each teacher needs to specify what the students need to work on. It also matters the tone of the teacher. The teacher or helper needs to be encouraging not discouraging and always be positive. The next part is to decide where to write the feedback. It is best to write it on their worksheets, assignments, or rubrics.
